Free graphics remaster modlist

Bevilex’s Modlist for Oblivion - Graphics is a free graphics remaster modlist complete with an installation order and tutorial to help modders improve the graphics of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The mod was created by Bevilex and is available for download on Nexus Mods. New and older Oblivion fans will find this list a perfect starting point for modding their own game.

Bevilex’s modlist has no other mod dependencies other than having the original game installed. An extension is also available by the creator of Oscuro’s Oblivion Overhaul that players who like creating mages will enjoy. Alternative graphics remaster mods include Oblivion Remasters and Oblivion Expanded - Modlist.

Before starting to mod

While there are hundreds of mods for Oblivion, this mod is composed of the creator’s modlist and preferences. It’s essential to follow the author’s guidelines on Nexus Mods and read the installation guide to prevent any issues. He recommends your vanilla Oblivion game to be working and have no mods installed. Many mods are for the English version of the game, and Bevilex prefers that version to minimize issues.

Tools needed to install

This modlist requires the use of several tools to install successfully. While Nexus Mod Manager is the most popular, Wyre Bash is a complete manager that works with nearly all mods. Bevilex recommends using Wyre Bash so if users encounter issues, he can assist them. TES4Edit is another helpful tool when installing this modlist, as it will clean your mods and check for conflicts. You can optimize your load order as well with programs like BOSS or LOOT.

Modlist highlights

Bevilex’s modlist is comprehensive and it’s impossible to list all of the great mods it includes. This mod contains stability mods, OBSED plugins, fixes, patches, and updates. In addition to that, it provides texture packs that retexture many in-game areas, included the Shivering Isles. Mods that replace animals and creature textures, including horses, are also found in this modlist.

An impressive collection

Bevilex was inclusive and thorough when compiling this modlist. As these are retextures and replacers, this modlist should be compatible with most mods. By using Wyre Bash, players can further customize the mod to include their mods.

The mod is currently on version 1.2 with nearly 12,000 total downloads.

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.
